Providing up-to-date lottery information and car market news on the information page of the app can enhance the accessibility for lottery applicants to stay informed about market trends and policy changes, facilitating their decision-making and participation in the lottery process
Aims to facilitate a smoother and more efficient lottery process by connecting lottery participants with car owners who are willing to share their vehicles. Through the sharing of information and resources, the app aims to reduce wait times and enhance the overall travel experience for lottery participants. By leveraging the power of sharing and process acceleration, the app can ultimately improve accessibility and convenience for all users
Beijing's License Lottery is a system implemented by the Beijing government to regulate the number of new vehicles on the roads in the city. Under this system, individuals who wish to purchase a new car must participate in a monthly lottery to obtain a license plate. The number of license plates available through the lottery is limited, and the odds of winning depend on the number of applicants. This system was introduced in 2011 to address the issue of traffic congestion and air pollution caused by the high demand for new cars in the city. By controlling the number of new cars registered each year, the government hopes to alleviate traffic congestion and improve the overall air quality in the city. The License Lottery system has been in effect for over a decade and has proven to be an effective tool in managing the number of vehicles on Beijing's roads.

The imbalance of supply and demand for license plates in Beijing has created a situation where obtaining a new license plate has become extremely difficult due to limited availability. This has resulted in the implementation of a lottery system, leading to frustration and disappointment for many applicants. The shortage of license plates has also contributed to increased traffic congestion and pollution in the city.

How might we improve the license-plate lottery and travel experience, as well as enhance vehicle services by minimizing the long waiting process and maintaining people's anticipation throughout the procedure?
I conducted 3 stakeholders who have never participated in the lottery, 4 stakeholders who are currently in the process of participating, and 3 stakeholders who have already obtained a license plate through the lottery. Aim to better understand the people's expectations of the lottery process, process experience and gain a deeper understanding of the lottery system and its impact on individuals in Beijing

In order to understand the license-plate application in Beijing, I personally experienced the whole pro-cess from receiving the driving license to obtaining license plate, and studied the service mode and management. To enrich the introduction, I interviewed some applicants to learn their thoughts and feelings

Additionally, there is an opportunity to enhance the overall vehicle ownership experience by offering personalized and convenient services, such as vehicle registration and maintenance, to applicants throughout the waiting period
